Ball Caps of the 20th Century -
The history of the Negro Leagues is too colorful, too rich to add anything here save our replicas of the caps the immortals played in; and perhaps a “Say Hey” to Oliver, the Ghost, Marcelle, some claim the greatest 3rd Baseman of them all, and maybe the handsomest of them all too, whose career nosedived after his was mostly bitten off in a fight and he later to wear an eye patch on that eyesore; and whose Baltimore Black Sox cap, made to the original specifications, we carry herein.
As the caps below are from different eras, the construction varies slightly. Generally, they are round, soft-crowns, 12 oz. wool flannel, with a hair canvas backing and leather sweat band. Visors have a dark green under-visor. Particulars are in the product description.
